What to Know Before Your Appointment
- A consultation is required before your first micro-needling session. Suitability will be confirmed by your therapist
- Arrive with clean, product-free skin on the day of your appointment
- Avoid retinol, exfoliating acids and active serums for at least 48 to 72 hours before your appointment
- Avoid sun exposure and tanning for at least one week prior to treatment
- Some redness and sensitivity is normal following the session and typically settles within 24 to 48 hours
- Your therapist will provide aftercare guidance at the end of your appointment
- A course of treatments spaced four weeks apart is generally recommended for progressive results
